Who We Are

Chaotic Great Games ("we", "us", "our") operates chaoticgreat.games, store.chaoticgreat.games, and related services. We are based in Boston, Massachusetts.

What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Order information: shipping address, email, and payment details when you make a purchase. Payment card information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Communications: any information you include when you contact us, apply for a job, or request a demo.

We collect information automatically:

  • Usage data: pages viewed, referring URLs, browser type, IP address, and session identifiers.
  • Cookies: we use a session cookie to keep you logged in and maintain your shopping cart. It expires after 30 days of inactivity.

How We Use Your Information

  • Process and fulfill your orders
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Send marketing emails if you opt in at checkout (you can unsubscribe at any time)

  • Generate aggregate traffic reports and analytics (no individual tracking is sold or shared)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

  • Stripe for payment processing. Their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
  • Postmark for transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications).
  • Cloudflare for CDN, DNS, and image delivery.
  • Railway for application hosting.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement. You can opt out via Facebook Ad Settings.
  • Reddit pixel for advertising measurement. You can opt out via Reddit Privacy Settings.
  • EasyPost for shipping label generation and tracking.

Advertising and Tracking Pixels

We use Meta (Facebook) and Reddit advertising pixels to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show you relevant advertising on those platforms. These pixels collect:

  • Page views across our site
  • Add-to-cart and purchase events (with order value but not personal information)
  • Browser and device information

We also use the Meta Conversions API to send purchase events server-side with hashed (not plaintext) email addresses for better ad measurement accuracy.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance, or the platform-specific settings linked above.

Data Retention

  • Account data: retained until you request deletion.
  • Order data: retained for accounting and legal purposes.
  • Page view analytics: retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
  • Session data: expires after 30 days of inactivity.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
  • Opt out of advertising pixels via your browser or platform settings
